PMI – POY 2015 Award

PMI – Project Management Israel

In last June, 2015 Sapir IPO was invited to the PMI annual conference in order to receive an award on the development and maintenance of a friendly interface for the users in order to support the learning English processes. In this conference, Dr. Hanan Maoz, our head of the International Program Office and Ms. Ruthy Salomon won a certification for their hard work and achievements in the EFA project that was support by the EU in Tempus Projects.
In this project, Sapir College developed an innovation system who allow students and lecturer around the world to participant and to contribute to the learning English language processes. This system aspired for excellent and focus in the internationalization learning concept. We aspired to implement this system in higher education institution as many as possible.

IRIS Project International Conference in the Framework of the EFMD Annual Conference

IRIS Project

was establish on order to fostering academic international relations in Israeli Colleges toward promoting higher education, research and innovation while submitting impact with the internationalization approach. In this project we establish our IPO, International Program Office, in Sapir College in order to centralize all the international activities in Sapir College. Moreover, to develop new international programs and initiative for the students and staff of Sapir College.

In the EFMD Annual Conference we were invited to participate and to collaborate with our partners in Brussels in order to develop the Annual Conference international site. We were leading the development process of this website and received an AMAZING feedback from the participants.

This is a unique online system who allow the students and alumni to receive a online information regarding their wishes when it come to involve at your university and to adapt to a new place.

The STAR system provide the students and alumni all there services that are required such as medical or accommodation in online environment that they could go in any time and receive solution to their needs.

The Idea of Building an Intensive Courses in the Open Source

We need to check the possibilities to collaborate with NYU on the basically of connection of the university in Madrid in order to develop an intensive collection on courses for learning from distance in the international arena. This could lower the cost of travels and the accommodation and will extend the possibility of insert new research to our curricula with no fear until may.
